As a native Angelino and fourth generation Californian, I believe it’s important to have a strong sense of our environment in our communities as well as globally.
I have worked in landscape design, water conservation and environmental education since 1998. I love teaching and writing about water, soil, gardening, education and urban design. I have written for or taught at: Pacific Horticulture magazine, APLD, ARCSA, Green Gardens Group (G3), Urban Water Group, Inc., The Designer magazine, Renaissance Arts Academy, USC School of Public Policy, National Youth and Children's Gardening Symposium, and Tree People.
Currently I am running the environmental education program at L.A. City Kids School and writing non-fiction for children.
